About
10 years of building and leading recruiting functions
Biography
I got into talent acquisition (on purpose), because I’ve always loved where careers, strategy, operations, and people overlap. What’s kept me hooked for over a decade is the operational puzzle of it all—how recruiting actually runs. Early in my career, whether I was in healthcare HR or helping scale startups, I kept seeing the same thing: hiring breaks down when the systems behind it break down, and when recruiters aren't given the tools needed to succeed. That’s why I focus so heavily on building solid infrastructure and empowering recruiters, so talent teams can stop playing catch-up and start operating as true strategic partners.
These days, I lead the recruiting function at Regal Global Entertainment, but my obsession with leadership and recruiter enablement doesn't stop with my day job. I also teach courses on online and at the University of Tennessee CPELL, and I’m working on my doctorate in Organizational Leadership, researching what actually makes recruiting teams perform at their best.
Home for me is Knoxville, Tennessee, where I live with my husband and our toy poodle, Abby (aka Queen of the Yard). When I’m not talking TA or buried in my degree program, I love trying new restaurants, browsing antique shops, or bingeing something on Netflix. And if you happen to be in Knoxville around Halloween, you might see me at one of our local haunted houses!
Career Highlights & IMPACT
Global & Multi-Site TA Strategy
Currently leading global recruiting strategy, operations, technology, and vendor strategy for Regal ($4.4B revenue, 20,000 employees, 650 locations across 9 countries). Overseeing a 6-figure operating budget, managing agency partnerships, and directing the enterprise rollout of Oracle ATS across 7 global brands to establish unified governance, SLAs, and performance metrics.
Building High-Performing Teams
Track record of direct leadership across startup, regional, and global TA organizations—managing teams of up to 7 direct reports. Experienced in hiring and coaching recruiters, sourcers, and support staff to transition from reactive order-takers into consultative, best-in-class business partners while maintaining near-zero voluntary turnover.
Enterprise Recruiting Operations
Built, stabilized, and scaled TA engines capable of delivering tens of thousands of hires annually across multi-unit retail, entertainment, restaurant, and retail sectors. At MWB Restaurants, scaled high-volume operations delivering 5,400+ hires over three years while driving turnover down to 59% (80% below industry benchmarks).
Fiscal Responsibility & Cost Optimization
Proven history of protecting margins and optimizing spend trough internal support alignment, ATS optimizations, and vendor management. Highlights include slashing $675K in agency fees at a $13B mining enterprise via direct sourcing, cutting $340K in agency spend in 90 days at a $540M QSR brand, and reducing cost-per-hire by 52% through employer branding transformations at a $50M QSR franchise.
Technology Transformation
Hands-on experience architecting, selecting, and implementing modern HR tech stacks across global and mid-market organizations. Successfully led enterprise ATS implementations and optimizations (Oracle, iCIMS, Workstream, Greenhouse) that improved candidate conversion, automated workflows, and reduced time-to-hire by up to 33%.
Academic Leadership & Industry Influence
Blending practical experience with academic rigor as a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership focused on recruiter enablement and team dynamics.
